Last week suspected Islamic militants attacked and occupied a beachfront restaurant in Mogadishu, Somalia. Somali government forces (yes, Somalia has had a government for a number of years now) ended the siege the following day. It should be needless to say that had a few of the patrons of the restaurant been armed, they could have ended the attack as it was happening, thereby reducing the death toll.
1. Pallas ruler Saturn parallel Pluto.
2. Venus quintile Neptune and square the Nodes.
3. Venus parallel Pluto.
4. Moon quindecile Pluto. Pluto rules Fourth House.
5. Sun parallel Pluto.
There is (of course) a Pluto-to-Pallas transit against the chart of (the new government of) Somalia. Transiting Pluto is square Somalia's Pallas. This is waning square, already five degrees past its peak, but is bridged by a tight square to Pluto from transiting Uranus.
At the time I first wrote about Somalia, I did not know it had recently formed a government.
